View/test your page(s)

One of the most important things you can do in your website editing process, is test out your pages to make sure they look the way you intend. No matter how careful we are, problems creep in. They might be simple typos, a misunderstanding of a field, or something wrong with the overall website design.

Using the View mode

In that main menu to the far left of the backend, you should see a View option. This is an easy way to review your page content.

Click View in the menu on the far left.
In the page tree in the center column, click the page you want to review.
The page will be rendered in the far right column on the backend.

Note: Because the view area is limited by the backend frames, this may not be the most natural way to review your website content.

: Click on the icon of the desired page

: Click on Show in the popup menu

To view a page through the popup menu...

On the page tree, click on the page icon of the page you want to review
A pop-up menu should appear.
Click on the menu item "Show"
A new web browser should pop open with the designated page as it would appear to the public

To view a page from the Page function...

Click on Page in the left column
Click on the page of the page tree that you want to modify
Click the magnifying glass icon near the top of the right column
A new web browser should pop open with the designated page as it would appear to the public

You can also trigger a page view at the same time you save information on that page, by clicking the save a view icon.
