At the top and bottom of almost every edit screen of the content management system, you will find several icons. These icons are consistent in their purpose.

Save (and return)

This item will save the current field settings and return to the same screen with the current settings showing.

Save and Show

This item will save the current field settings and pop-up a new window showing  the live, frontend content for the current page.

Save and create new, similar item on this page

This item will save the current field settings and open up a new, similar screen with blank/default information in the fields.  This is a quick way to add another similar, new item.

Save and Close

This item will save the current field settings and close the screen -- returning to the default screen for the current backend function.

Close (without saving)

This item will close the screen without saving any information.

Delete

This item will delete the existing item.  It will not save any information. It will return to the default screen for the current backend function.
