To setup your email

If you are already familiar with your preferred email client and know how you want it to be setup, then please use the information below to go ahead with your setup.

Your email settings...

[Anywhere in this tutorial where you see "domain.com" you should substitute the domain name from your website -- such as "artsandspirituality.org" or "lancasterfarmfresh.com"]

These are the most important settings for you to look for.

username/account name (incoming server): {use your full email address!!}
password (incoming server): {self-explanatory)
incoming mail server (POP3 or IMAP): mail.domain.com (substitute your domain name... but make sure you include the "mail." part in front of the domain name. Do not use "www."
outgoing mail server (SMTP): {same as incoming mail server}
authentication: outgoing mail server DOES require authentication
authentication logon information: {use the same username and password as above}

The following items are usually the default settings anyways. You usually won't need to make any adjustment to them. They are provided here for reference.

POP port: 110
IMAP port: 143
SMTP port: 25 (use 26 if your ISP blocks port 25... either 25 or 26 should work)
Servers do NOT require a secure connection (SSL)
IMAP Root folder path: {blank}
